Martin W. Croyle, CPA, MST (Accounting)
Martin W. Croyle is responsible for
the day-to-day management of all accounting services
provided at Yoshida, Croyle & Sokolski, P.C. Marty
was a senior audit manager at Touche Ross & Company
(now Deloitte & Touche) in Boston, where he worked
for ten years, until he joined the firm in 1988.
Marty is also
a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public
Accountants and the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (AICPA). He is an active member of
the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants
and is Treasurer of the Meadow Brook Golf Club. Marty
is a participant of the Small Business Association of
New England's (SBANE) DIALOG program and also serves
on the St. Lawrence University Executive Alumni Council.
Marty is a graduate of St. Lawrence University
(B. A. in Economics/Government), Northeastern University's
Graduate School of Professional Accounting, and Bentley
College's Master of Science in Taxation Program.
Ida G. Faber (Organizational
Development & Strategy)
Ida Faber is Director of Marketing
at Mario Russo, Inc., where she started and managed
all strategies for a prestigious line of cosmetics.
She also directed the launch of the company’s
online storefront, www.mariorusso.com, and currently
manages its ongoing development. Ida has also been Director
of Operations for Mario Russo, executing both strategic
and day-to-day operations for the $3.5M corporation.
Ida has worked as Coordinator of Student
Programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology,
where she increased attendance of weekly academic and
career training meetings by 40%. She also taught Business
Communications at Mt. Ida College. Currently, Ida teaches
a core OB/Marketing course to MBA students at Suffolk
University.
Ida graduated from Tufts University with
a B.A. in English, and received both her Master of Business
Administration and her Master of Education, Counseling
Psychology from Boston University.
Allen B. Falcon (Technology)
Allen Falcon, President and co-founder
of Horizon Information Group, has assisted businesses
of all sizes with strategic technology planning, management,
and operations. Working on the staffs of corporate CIOs,
Allen has led efforts to improve the quality and efficiency
of information services for internal and external customers.
Through implementation of Horizon's End-to-End Service
Management models, Allen has planned and managed technology
projects that directly support business goals and bottom
lines.
Allen has served as a part-time CIO for
businesses in multiple industries and has held positions
in consulting and in network systems development, specializing
in large systems analysis and design. Allen has published
several articles on technology issues for smaller businesses
and has served on advisory boards for industry conferences
and trade events. A proponent of a healthy environment
for small and mid-size businesses, Allen currently serves
on the Board of The Smaller Business Association of
New England (SBANE).
Allen holds an Honors Bachelor of Science
degree in Computer and Communication Sciences from the
University of Michigan.
David Goldstein
David Goldstein is President of Comedy
Theater Productions, a unique combination of companies
including Mystery Cafe, TeamBonding and Scaventures.
An entrepreneur for the past 16 years David has experience
in retail sales, marketing, internet marketing, website
development, corporate sales, public relations and crisis
management.
As a former intern for the Sheraton Boston
Hotel, the Boston Breakers USFL team, and the Men's
Chorale of Boston.
Donald R. Saracen (Marketing)
Donald R. Saracen is president and
founder of SARACEN Sales & Marketing, a consulting
firm specializing in strategic management and market
planning. The firm’s focus is on providing professional
management, sales and marketing services to small emerging
and mid-sized businesses. Donald brings together technical
and functional expertise along with real-world practical
experience. This provides SS&M clients with candid
and objective solutions that work. SARACEN Sales &
Marketing’s network of resources and contacts
are an additional benefit helping clients to reach their
goals.
Donald serves on numerous boards and
committees throughout New England: SBANE (Smaller Business
Association of New England), Rotary International Providence

Donald has a unique business perspective
having grown-up in a family-owned business. He majored
in Communications and has over 30 years of experience
in senior management positions with regional, national
and a multinational corporation. This experience translates
into creative solutions to broad-based business problems.
Teg Rood (Operations)
Teg Rood is the principal of Rood
Consulting. Teg has 25 years of experience in operations
management and consulting for manufacturing companies
from the Fortune 500 Companies to countless start-ups
woith which he has helped them achieve a competitive
advantage through operations. He has reduced time to
market, reduced costs, and improved response to customers’
needs for both new products and mature production operations.
Teg is the former COO of Trade Shops,
an online marketspace for contractors. He has held senior
operations positions with several electronics manufacturers
including ten years in materials and program management
at General Electric.
Teg holds an MBA from the Harvard Business
School and a BSE in Industrial Engineering from the
University of Michigan. He is a member of the MIT Enterprise
Forum and The Smaller Business Association of New England.
Gregory Friedman (Development
& Funding)
Gregory is a research analyst working
for Deloitte and Touche, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He has also worked as a strategy consultant with Cap
Gemini Ernst & Young, a global information technology
consulting company, and he co-founded his own company,
LiveWire Business Solutions, to provide similar marketing
and business strategy services to small, growing businesses.
Greg has also worked in an advisory role by assisting
in the development of business plans and financial projections
for multiple start-up companies. He graduated with a
B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania
in 2000.
Kirby Thwing, Jr. (Operations
& Strategy)
Kirby Thwing, Jr. is a mechanical engineer
by education and a business executive with 28 years of management
experience in the manufacturing arena. He is particularly
interested in employee development and self-actualization.
He has worked in metal fabrication, tee shirt printing, medical
device manufacture, and the custom millwork and home building
industry. Currently he is very active in the development of
strategic plans and operating plans and the training necessary
for the execution of those plans. He has an entrepreneurial
side, which led him to the creation of a shed building business
and into consulting.
